Cornerstone Consulting Group (or CCG as we refer to them in the office), have supported us with general HR, recruitment and some training. It's easy to forget to dot the I’s and cross the T's with recruitment and performance management, but they drive the processes and policies that keep us on track. They have held us to a high standard and supported delivery. The team are responsive, thoughtful, considered and knowledgeable. As a result, CCG have become a trusted partner.

I couldn’t recommend Cornerstone Consulting Group more highly. Riley and Jasmine have been an incredible support to me and my business. They have consistently gone above and beyond in the support they’ve provided. They have taken the time to genuinely understand my business, my team and where I’m trying to go. Their guidance has helped me navigate not only people and HR decisions, but also think more clearly about growth, planning and the bigger picture of running a business. What I value most is having Riley and Jasmine as trusted sounding boards. They are approachable, practical and incredibly generous with their knowledge, while also being willing to challenge my thinking and offer a different perspective when I need it. They truly feel like an extension of my team. I’m very grateful for their support and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Cornerstone to any business owner looking for exceptional HR guidance from people who genuinely care about the businesses they work with.

I needed help with obtaining a contract for my own employee and also HR help for one of my current clients. These people are awesome - quick and efficient turn around and very commercial. Dealing with a HR expert has been a much more streamlined, efficient and smoother experience then trying to work directly with a commercial lawyer. If you need anything HR related go straight to Cornerstone.

Working with Cornerstone Consulting Group has genuinely been one of the best decisions we've made. Over the past two years, Grace and the team have helped us completely transform our HR and WHS systems. They've guided us through policy reviews, ISO requirements, workplace compliance, recruitment, employment matters, and more, always making what feels overwhelming seem manageable. What stands out most is that they never treat us like just another client. They take the time to understand our business, explain things in plain English, and provide practical advice that actually works in the real world. Their support has given me the confidence to tackle projects I never thought I'd be leading. Grace has been patient, knowledgeable, responsive, and an absolute pleasure to work with. Knowing we have Cornerstone in our corner gives our team real peace of mind. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Cornerstone Consulting Group to any business looking for professional, approachable HR and WHS support. Thank you for everything you've helped us achieve.

Experts in their field! Super knowledgeable and will go above and beyond to meet your business needs. Would definitely recommend!
Our work in practice

Practical support. Real examples.

Examples of work delivered by CCG. Details are kept anonymous to protect client confidentiality.

Keeping onboarding organised ahead of a busy season

The need
A tourism business was bringing new employees into the team as it prepared for a busier operating period.

Our work
CCG coordinated new-starter documentation and onboarding, processed changes to existing employment arrangements, and set up reminders for probation and development check-ins. We also followed up managers on upcoming review milestones.

What was delivered
New starters were progressed through an organised onboarding process, employment changes were documented, and managers received prompts to support employee check-ins.

Prepare for growth and seasonal demand

A busy season or a new venue can bring a wave of hiring. If each manager uses a different process, important employment documents and early check-ins can be missed.

We help you define the roles, prepare the right documents and organise onboarding around the people who will actually deliver it. That can include induction checklists, clear policy acknowledgements and a plan for reviewing how new starters are settling in.

Give your managers a practical people process

Customer-facing work can put pressure on team relationships, attendance and expectations about service. Managers need a clear way to raise concerns, hear the employee’s perspective and follow through on agreed actions.

We can help prepare performance conversations, document expectations and support consistent follow-up. For an immediate issue, we start with the facts and what has already happened, then agree the next step with you.

Connect employment advice with your rosters

Tourism and hospitality cover different business models and jobs. Restaurants, accommodation businesses and other operations should check the arrangements that apply to their activities and employees.

We help you organise the information needed to assess award coverage and classifications, then work through questions about employment conditions and roster practices. Fair Work’s guidance on bars and restaurants illustrates why the business model matters.

Your first step

Get ready for the next busy period

If your documents or manager routines have fallen behind the business, an HR Health Check can identify priorities and provide an action plan over 4–6 weeks. If one issue needs attention first, we can start there.

Our typical clients have around 10–150 employees. After an initial conversation, we’ll recommend retainer, hourly or project support to suit your business. We can also provide extra capacity alongside an existing HR professional.

Meet the CCG team

Useful information for our first conversation

  • Your venues, roles and staffing arrangements
  • Current contracts and relevant roster examples
  • Upcoming hiring plans or the issue you need to resolve

You do not need every document ready to book a conversation.

Common questions

Getting the right HR support.

Can we start with one venue or one issue?

Yes. We can agree a defined piece of work, such as reviewing contracts or supporting a manager with an employment concern, before considering any broader support.

Can you help with casual and permanent employee documents?

We can help review and prepare employment documents suited to the arrangements you need, and identify questions that should be resolved before they are issued.

Can you work with tourism businesses outside Adelaide?

Yes. CCG is based in Adelaide and supports businesses across Australia. We can work remotely with your owner, venue manager or the person coordinating your HR.

For general award information, see Fair Work’s awards guidance. For support in another sector, explore our industries.

How we work together

Let’s make your next step clear.

01

Tell us what’s happening

Book a free consultation. We’ll discuss your business, your team and the HR issue or priority you want to work through.

02

Choose the right support

We’ll recommend a project, hourly advice or ongoing HR support. We agree the scope, fees and next steps with you before work starts.

03

Work alongside your team

We gather the relevant information, work through the agreed priorities and help you put the advice and documents into use.

You can start with a defined project or hourly advice. Ongoing retainers are 12-month agreements; we’ll explain the terms before you decide. An HR Health Check generally takes 4–6 weeks.
