Cornerstone Consulting Group (or CCG as we refer to them in the office), have supported us with general HR, recruitment and some training. It's easy to forget to dot the I’s and cross the T's with recruitment and performance management, but they drive the processes and policies that keep us on track. They have held us to a high standard and supported delivery. The team are responsive, thoughtful, considered and knowledgeable. As a result, CCG have become a trusted partner.

I couldn’t recommend Cornerstone Consulting Group more highly. Riley and Jasmine have been an incredible support to me and my business. They have consistently gone above and beyond in the support they’ve provided. They have taken the time to genuinely understand my business, my team and where I’m trying to go. Their guidance has helped me navigate not only people and HR decisions, but also think more clearly about growth, planning and the bigger picture of running a business. What I value most is having Riley and Jasmine as trusted sounding boards. They are approachable, practical and incredibly generous with their knowledge, while also being willing to challenge my thinking and offer a different perspective when I need it. They truly feel like an extension of my team. I’m very grateful for their support and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Cornerstone to any business owner looking for exceptional HR guidance from people who genuinely care about the businesses they work with.

I needed help with obtaining a contract for my own employee and also HR help for one of my current clients. These people are awesome - quick and efficient turn around and very commercial. Dealing with a HR expert has been a much more streamlined, efficient and smoother experience then trying to work directly with a commercial lawyer. If you need anything HR related go straight to Cornerstone.

Working with Cornerstone Consulting Group has genuinely been one of the best decisions we've made. Over the past two years, Grace and the team have helped us completely transform our HR and WHS systems. They've guided us through policy reviews, ISO requirements, workplace compliance, recruitment, employment matters, and more, always making what feels overwhelming seem manageable. What stands out most is that they never treat us like just another client. They take the time to understand our business, explain things in plain English, and provide practical advice that actually works in the real world. Their support has given me the confidence to tackle projects I never thought I'd be leading. Grace has been patient, knowledgeable, responsive, and an absolute pleasure to work with. Knowing we have Cornerstone in our corner gives our team real peace of mind. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Cornerstone Consulting Group to any business looking for professional, approachable HR and WHS support. Thank you for everything you've helped us achieve.

Our work in practice

Practical support. Real examples.

Examples of work delivered by CCG. Details are kept anonymous to protect client confidentiality.

Bringing structure to HR documentation in education

The need
An education provider was reviewing its HR documents while continuing to recruit and onboard staff.

Our work
CCG reviewed policies and prepared a policy audit report for management’s review. We also updated position descriptions, prepared recruitment documents, progressed employment contracts and onboarding requirements, and organised completed employment records.

What was delivered
The provider received a policy audit report, updated role and recruitment documents, and practical support managing employment paperwork. Further contract and position-description work continued as part of the engagement.

Turn a document review into practical next steps

Education providers may have policies and employment records spread across teams, with some documents awaiting review while recruitment and onboarding continue.

We help organise the review, document findings and identify priorities for management. The scope may include policies, contracts, position descriptions or onboarding processes, depending on what you need.

Connect recruitment, onboarding and role clarity

A clear position description helps set expectations before recruitment begins. New starters then need employment documents and a consistent way to understand their role and the organisation’s policies.

We can support those steps together, prepare the relevant paperwork and organise completed records. We also help managers with probation milestones and employee conversations.

Be clear about the scope of the review

Our work on this page focuses on employment and people-management matters. An HR review does not, by itself, establish that a provider meets all education registration, accreditation or regulatory requirements.

We agree the HR scope, responsibilities and fees before starting. Our typical clients have around 10–150 employees; support can be a defined project, hourly advice or ongoing outsourced HR. HR Team Extension is available alongside an existing HR professional.

Common questions

Getting the right HR support.

Can we begin with a policy or contract review?

Yes. We can agree a defined review and provide findings and next steps for management. An HR Health Check is another option when you want a broader review of agreed documents and practices over 4–6 weeks.

Can you support recruitment and onboarding while a review is underway?

Yes. We can agree priorities for immediate employment paperwork alongside the review, so the responsibilities and next steps are clear. The scope and timing depend on the work required.

Does an HR Health Check cover education accreditation?

The HR Health Check focuses on the employment documents and people practices in the agreed scope. Education registration or accreditation requirements need their own appropriate review; we will be clear about what our engagement covers.
