Cornerstone Consulting Group (or CCG as we refer to them in the office), have supported us with general HR, recruitment and some training. It's easy to forget to dot the I’s and cross the T's with recruitment and performance management, but they drive the processes and policies that keep us on track. They have held us to a high standard and supported delivery. The team are responsive, thoughtful, considered and knowledgeable. As a result, CCG have become a trusted partner.

I couldn’t recommend Cornerstone Consulting Group more highly. Riley and Jasmine have been an incredible support to me and my business. They have consistently gone above and beyond in the support they’ve provided. They have taken the time to genuinely understand my business, my team and where I’m trying to go. Their guidance has helped me navigate not only people and HR decisions, but also think more clearly about growth, planning and the bigger picture of running a business. What I value most is having Riley and Jasmine as trusted sounding boards. They are approachable, practical and incredibly generous with their knowledge, while also being willing to challenge my thinking and offer a different perspective when I need it. They truly feel like an extension of my team. I’m very grateful for their support and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Cornerstone to any business owner looking for exceptional HR guidance from people who genuinely care about the businesses they work with.

I needed help with obtaining a contract for my own employee and also HR help for one of my current clients. These people are awesome - quick and efficient turn around and very commercial. Dealing with a HR expert has been a much more streamlined, efficient and smoother experience then trying to work directly with a commercial lawyer. If you need anything HR related go straight to Cornerstone.

Working with Cornerstone Consulting Group has genuinely been one of the best decisions we've made. Over the past two years, Grace and the team have helped us completely transform our HR and WHS systems. They've guided us through policy reviews, ISO requirements, workplace compliance, recruitment, employment matters, and more, always making what feels overwhelming seem manageable. What stands out most is that they never treat us like just another client. They take the time to understand our business, explain things in plain English, and provide practical advice that actually works in the real world. Their support has given me the confidence to tackle projects I never thought I'd be leading. Grace has been patient, knowledgeable, responsive, and an absolute pleasure to work with. Knowing we have Cornerstone in our corner gives our team real peace of mind. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Cornerstone Consulting Group to any business looking for professional, approachable HR and WHS support. Thank you for everything you've helped us achieve.

Experts in their field! Super knowledgeable and will go above and beyond to meet your business needs. Would definitely recommend!

Make expectations useful on the floor and in the team

Standards for service, conduct, communication and performance are easier to discuss when they have been made clear from the start. Managers also need to know how those expectations relate to each role.

We can help prepare position descriptions and practical policy guidance, then connect them with induction and regular check-ins. That gives supervisors a clearer foundation for recognising good work and raising concerns when expectations are not being met.

Keep the employee experience consistent across locations

A business with several stores, teams or shift leaders can develop different ways of handling offers, induction and employee questions. Consistency starts with a process that managers can actually follow.

We help organise the employment documents, explain who owns each onboarding step and create review points for new starters. The framework can allow for differences in roles while giving the business a common approach to records and follow-up.

Support managers before issues become harder to resolve

A customer complaint, missed expectation or concern about conduct can raise an employment issue that needs more than an informal comment. Managers benefit from a considered approach to understanding what happened and planning the next step.

We can help review the facts, prepare employee conversations and document agreed actions. For questions about hours, classifications or other employment conditions, we start with the role and relevant arrangements rather than assuming every customer-facing job is covered in the same way.

Your first step

Choose a practical starting point for your team

You might need help with one employee concern, more consistent onboarding across locations or clearer expectations for team leaders. We’ll agree the work with you before it starts, including the scope and fees.

Our typical clients have around 10–150 employees. After an initial conversation, we’ll recommend retainer, hourly or project support to suit your business. We can also provide extra capacity alongside an existing HR professional.

Meet the CCG team

Useful information for our first conversation

  • Your locations, teams and reporting structure
  • Current employment documents and service expectations
  • The performance issue, hiring need or process to improve

You do not need every document ready to book a conversation.

Common questions

Getting the right HR support.

Can you help a sales or customer service team outside retail?

Yes. We can support customer-facing teams in different businesses, with the HR work based on the actual roles and employment arrangements.

Can you help new store managers or team leaders?

We can provide practical guidance for setting expectations, giving feedback and responding to employee concerns, alongside the owner or manager they report to.

Do we have to commit to ongoing support?

No. You can start with hourly advice or a defined project. If ongoing support is a good fit, we explain the scope and 12-month retainer terms before you decide.

How we work together

Let’s make your next step clear.

01

Tell us what’s happening

Book a free consultation. We’ll discuss your business, your team and the HR issue or priority you want to work through.

02

Choose the right support

We’ll recommend a project, hourly advice or ongoing HR support. We agree the scope, fees and next steps with you before work starts.

03

Work alongside your team

We gather the relevant information, work through the agreed priorities and help you put the advice and documents into use.

You can start with a defined project or hourly advice. Ongoing retainers are 12-month agreements; we’ll explain the terms before you decide. An HR Health Check generally takes 4–6 weeks.
