Cornerstone Consulting Group (or CCG as we refer to them in the office), have supported us with general HR, recruitment and some training. It's easy to forget to dot the I’s and cross the T's with recruitment and performance management, but they drive the processes and policies that keep us on track. They have held us to a high standard and supported delivery. The team are responsive, thoughtful, considered and knowledgeable. As a result, CCG have become a trusted partner.

I couldn’t recommend Cornerstone Consulting Group more highly. Riley and Jasmine have been an incredible support to me and my business. They have consistently gone above and beyond in the support they’ve provided. They have taken the time to genuinely understand my business, my team and where I’m trying to go. Their guidance has helped me navigate not only people and HR decisions, but also think more clearly about growth, planning and the bigger picture of running a business. What I value most is having Riley and Jasmine as trusted sounding boards. They are approachable, practical and incredibly generous with their knowledge, while also being willing to challenge my thinking and offer a different perspective when I need it. They truly feel like an extension of my team. I’m very grateful for their support and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Cornerstone to any business owner looking for exceptional HR guidance from people who genuinely care about the businesses they work with.

I needed help with obtaining a contract for my own employee and also HR help for one of my current clients. These people are awesome - quick and efficient turn around and very commercial. Dealing with a HR expert has been a much more streamlined, efficient and smoother experience then trying to work directly with a commercial lawyer. If you need anything HR related go straight to Cornerstone.

Working with Cornerstone Consulting Group has genuinely been one of the best decisions we've made. Over the past two years, Grace and the team have helped us completely transform our HR and WHS systems. They've guided us through policy reviews, ISO requirements, workplace compliance, recruitment, employment matters, and more, always making what feels overwhelming seem manageable. What stands out most is that they never treat us like just another client. They take the time to understand our business, explain things in plain English, and provide practical advice that actually works in the real world. Their support has given me the confidence to tackle projects I never thought I'd be leading. Grace has been patient, knowledgeable, responsive, and an absolute pleasure to work with. Knowing we have Cornerstone in our corner gives our team real peace of mind. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Cornerstone Consulting Group to any business looking for professional, approachable HR and WHS support. Thank you for everything you've helped us achieve.

Experts in their field! Super knowledgeable and will go above and beyond to meet your business needs. Would definitely recommend!
Our work in practice

Practical support. Real examples.

Examples of work delivered by CCG. Details are kept anonymous to protect client confidentiality.

Practical check-ins for warehouse and manufacturing supervisors

The need
An operational business needed a practical way for supervisors to hold regular one-to-one conversations with warehouse and manufacturing employees.

Our work
CCG prepared and delivered training on effective one-to-one meetings, issued supporting documents to leaders, and adapted the meeting agenda and template following feedback about the needs of the operational teams.

What was delivered
Leaders received training and a tailored meeting framework they could use for employee check-ins and feedback.

Clearer award advice for an industrial employer

The need
An industrial employer needed help working through award coverage and employment-condition questions while progressing enterprise-agreement discussions.

Our work
CCG reviewed the relevant award and agreement provisions, prepared written findings, and worked through questions with management and payroll. We also supported employee-representative communications and provided advice on the next steps in agreement discussions.

What was delivered
Management and payroll received documented advice and supporting communications to inform their decisions and the ongoing agreement process.

Connect employment advice with the work on site

Manufacturing businesses can have production, warehouse, distribution, technical and office roles. A single label for the business does not explain every employee’s work.

We gather the information needed to assess your employment questions, review the relevant arrangements and work through findings with management and payroll. If a wider agreement process is involved, we clarify the support and next steps within our scope.

Make employee check-ins useful for supervisors

Operational leaders need an approach to employee conversations that fits their responsibilities. A generic template can leave them unsure what to ask, how to give feedback or what to record.

We can prepare and deliver training, tailor a meeting framework and support follow-up. The aim is a practical process leaders can put into use across warehouse and manufacturing teams.

Start with the highest-priority gaps

If your workforce has grown while contracts, policies or manager routines have stayed the same, an HR Health Check can provide a written report, prioritised action plan and debrief. The agreed review generally takes 4–6 weeks.

For one pressing issue, start with hourly advice or a defined project. We can also provide ongoing outsourced HR, or HR Team Extension alongside an existing HR professional. Our typical clients have around 10–150 employees.

Common questions

Getting the right HR support.

Can you help with award and classification questions?

Yes. We can review the relevant information about your business, employees’ work and current employment arrangements, then provide advice and identify next steps. We do not assume one award applies to every role.

Can you train our supervisors?

We can prepare and deliver practical training on employee check-ins, feedback and people-management conversations, with supporting documents suited to your teams. We agree the content and delivery with you.

Do you also support businesses involved in construction or trades?

Yes. Where manufacturing and installation work overlap, we start with your actual operations and workforce. You can also explore our separate trades industry page.
