Cornerstone Consulting Group (or CCG as we refer to them in the office), have supported us with general HR, recruitment and some training. It's easy to forget to dot the I’s and cross the T's with recruitment and performance management, but they drive the processes and policies that keep us on track. They have held us to a high standard and supported delivery. The team are responsive, thoughtful, considered and knowledgeable. As a result, CCG have become a trusted partner.

I couldn’t recommend Cornerstone Consulting Group more highly. Riley and Jasmine have been an incredible support to me and my business. They have consistently gone above and beyond in the support they’ve provided. They have taken the time to genuinely understand my business, my team and where I’m trying to go. Their guidance has helped me navigate not only people and HR decisions, but also think more clearly about growth, planning and the bigger picture of running a business. What I value most is having Riley and Jasmine as trusted sounding boards. They are approachable, practical and incredibly generous with their knowledge, while also being willing to challenge my thinking and offer a different perspective when I need it. They truly feel like an extension of my team. I’m very grateful for their support and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Cornerstone to any business owner looking for exceptional HR guidance from people who genuinely care about the businesses they work with.

I needed help with obtaining a contract for my own employee and also HR help for one of my current clients. These people are awesome - quick and efficient turn around and very commercial. Dealing with a HR expert has been a much more streamlined, efficient and smoother experience then trying to work directly with a commercial lawyer. If you need anything HR related go straight to Cornerstone.

Working with Cornerstone Consulting Group has genuinely been one of the best decisions we've made. Over the past two years, Grace and the team have helped us completely transform our HR and WHS systems. They've guided us through policy reviews, ISO requirements, workplace compliance, recruitment, employment matters, and more, always making what feels overwhelming seem manageable. What stands out most is that they never treat us like just another client. They take the time to understand our business, explain things in plain English, and provide practical advice that actually works in the real world. Their support has given me the confidence to tackle projects I never thought I'd be leading. Grace has been patient, knowledgeable, responsive, and an absolute pleasure to work with. Knowing we have Cornerstone in our corner gives our team real peace of mind. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Cornerstone Consulting Group to any business looking for professional, approachable HR and WHS support. Thank you for everything you've helped us achieve.

Experts in their field! Super knowledgeable and will go above and beyond to meet your business needs. Would definitely recommend!
Employment foundations

Does SCHADS cover every NDIS worker?

No. NDIS funding or registration does not, by itself, determine award coverage. The employer’s activities, the work performed and any applicable enterprise agreement matter. Different roles within one organisation may fall under different arrangements.

We can help you review role descriptions and employment arrangements, identify classification questions and work through how the relevant requirements apply. The starting point is the actual role, rather than its title alone.

Read Fair Work’s SCHADS guidance and our employer guide to SCHADS Award HR support.

Make onboarding requirements clear

An employment contract is one part of onboarding. Your process also needs to identify the records, checks, induction and approvals required for the role, who is responsible for them and how outstanding items will be followed up.

For registered NDIS providers, worker-screening obligations focus on key personnel and workers in risk-assessed roles. Requirements and permitted arrangements can depend on the role and jurisdiction. Use the NDIS Commission’s registered-provider guidance when determining what applies.

CCG can help organise the employment side: role descriptions, contracts, onboarding checklists, employee files and review points. Your organisation remains responsible for its provider obligations and clearance verification.

Prepare the HR side of an audit

We can help review HR documentation and identify gaps to work through before an audit, including position descriptions, onboarding procedures, employment records and relevant policies.

We agree the documents and actions in scope, distinguish completed work from outstanding items and help management understand the next steps. This is HR preparation support; CCG does not perform the NDIS certification audit.

If you want a broader starting point, our HR Health Check reviews your employment foundations and provides a prioritised action plan over 4–6 weeks.

Organising the HR records behind NDIS service delivery

The need

A community-services organisation was managing new starters while preparing HR documentation to support an NDIS audit.

Our work

CCG coordinated employment contracts and employee files, reviewed onboarding documentation and followed up required screening and qualification records. We updated onboarding requirements and provided guidance on position descriptions and the information needed to support the audit process.

What was delivered

Employment documentation was prepared and organised, onboarding processes were updated, and management received guidance on its HR audit documentation. Outstanding items were followed up as part of the work.

Client details are withheld for confidentiality. This example describes HR support delivered, rather than an audit result.

Before we meet

What to bring to the first conversation

  • Your main concern and any relevant deadline.
  • The types of services you deliver and the roles in your team.
  • Whether the question concerns a particular award, agreement, employee process or audit requirement.
  • What you have already reviewed or tried, and who will be involved in making decisions.

You do not need to send employee files with your initial enquiry. We’ll agree what information is needed and how to provide it once we understand the scope.

Can we engage you for one issue?

Yes. You can start with hourly advice or a defined project. If you want CCG to take care of your HR more broadly, we can discuss outsourced HR support and agree the scope, fees and terms.

Can you work alongside our existing HR or quality team?

Yes. If you already have an HR team, our HR Team Extension service provides additional capacity and advice alongside them. We can also coordinate HR work with your quality team, with responsibilities and scope agreed before we start.

Do you support smaller NDIS providers?

Yes. Our typical clients have around 10–150 employees. Tell us about your team and what you need, and we’ll recommend retainer, hourly or project support to suit your business.

How we work together

Let’s make your next step clear.

01

Tell us what’s happening

Book a free consultation. We’ll discuss your business, your team and the HR issue or priority you want to work through.

02

Choose the right support

We’ll recommend a project, hourly advice or ongoing HR support. We agree the scope, fees and next steps with you before work starts.

03

Work alongside your team

We gather the relevant information, work through the agreed priorities and help you put the advice and documents into use.

You can start with a defined project or hourly advice. Ongoing retainers are 12-month agreements; we’ll explain the terms before you decide. An HR Health Check generally takes 4–6 weeks.

General information checked 10 September 2026. Employment and NDIS requirements depend on your circumstances and can change. The official guidance linked above is the starting point for current requirements.
