Morning
You might start your day with a coffee at the office and a quick team huddle, sharing wins, challenges, or a laugh before diving into client work. The first task could be reviewing a client’s employment contracts to ensure they’re compliant with the latest Fair Work changes. Or maybe you’re jumping straight into a call with a business owner who needs urgent advice about managing a performance issue.
Mid-Morning
It’s time to switch gears — perhaps you’re drafting a tailored policy for a growing business, creating a position description for a new role, or preparing interview questions for an upcoming recruitment project. You’re in touch with clients by phone and email, but also making time to collaborate with the CCG team to bounce ideas and share best practice.
Afternoon
You might head out to a client site, spending a few hours running a workshop with managers on how to conduct effective performance reviews, or sitting down with a business leader to help them navigate a tricky employee relations matter. If you’re in the office, you might be mentoring a teammate on an ER issue or brainstorming with the Directors on how to deliver even more value to a client.
Late Afternoon
Back at your desk, you’re finishing off documentation from the day — letters, contracts, policies — and checking in with your clients to ensure nothing falls through the cracks. On a Friday Fortnight, the team comes together for a short presentation, some shared learnings, and then an early finish (often with a cheeseboard in the mix).

We work with small and medium businesses that don’t have HR in-house, so we effectively become their HR team. That means:
